Abstract Nancy Babb (1884-1948) was a member of the Society of Friends who served as a field representative for the Red Cross and then as a relief worker in Russia from 1917 to the mid 1920s. On her return to the United States in 1928 Babb lectured about her work in Russia. Edward W. Evans Papers

Edward Wyatt Evans (1882-1976) was a lifelong member of the Germantown (Pennsylvania) Monthly Meeting and was active in the Friends Peace Committee of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. Evans was instrumental in the founding of the Fellowship of Reconciliation (Fellowship of Reconcilation), and was the executive secretary from 1916-1919. During the 1920s, he was also active in educational and peace programs of the Society of Friends.

Overview E. Raymond Wilson (1896-1987), a Quaker peace lobbyist, helped found the Friends Committee on National Legislation in 1943 and served as its Executive Secretary until 1962.
