J. Wilmer Lundy Family Papers

Overview J. Wilmer Lundy (1869-1966), Quaker businessman and writer, was the son of Joseph and Mary Evans Lundy of Rancocas, New Jersey. He graduated from Trenton Business College in 1889 and in 1900 formed a partnership with Elmer J. Shinn. In 1895 he married Bessie Morris Roberts, daughter of Stacy and Harriet Roberts. They had one daughter, Elizabeth, who married an Indian businessman and took the name Kamela Nimbkar. J. Wilmer Lundy died in Newtown in 1966 at the age of 97. The collection...

Photo album of trip to Cuba, Guatemala, and Honduras

photographs document the journey of the T.E.S. Antigua (of the United Fruit Company's Great White Fleet) from a New York harbor to locations in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba; Puerto Barrios, Guatemala; and Puerto Cortés, Honduras. These images include various portraits of the ship’s guests and crew and scenic views from the ship. More centrally, the album depicts touristic travels through Central American ports.

Rosalie and Curt Regen Slide Collection

Rosalie Stork Regen (1909-1993) was a Quaker author and playwright who joined the Rahway and Plainfield Monthly Meeting in 1941. An active member of the Society of Friends, Rosalie taught First Day School and visited Quakers all over the world with her husband, Curt Regen. The collection depicts their world travels in seven binders of color slides, which date from the 1940s to the 1980s.

Overview Rosalie Stork Regen (1909-1993) was a Quaker author and playwright who joined the Rahway and Plainfield Monthly Meeting in 1941. She was the daughter of Charles Wharton Stork and Elisabeth von Pausinger Stork. An active member of the Society of Friends, Rosalie taught First Day School and visited Quakers all over the world. The collection includes journals kept continuously from 1936 to the time of her death in 1993. She also maintained a prodigious correspondence with family and friends....
