Overview Christopher Darlington Morley (1890-1957) was an American journalist, novelist, essayist, and poet. These are the scrapbooks of Morley's column, "The Bowling Green," which was published in the New York Evening Post. Morley's column included poetry, short essays, literary reviews, and analysis written by himself, as well as letters written to him from readers and poetry written by a variety of poets.
